Design

The High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) System is standard on all Broncos. These springs, shocks, and solid rear axle support your Bronco and keep you firmly planted to the ground. You’ll feel a difference in handling and maneuverability.
Seven available G.O.A.T (Goes Over Any type of Terrain) Modes allow you to choose the system you need to handle the road ahead. Pick from Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, Sand, Rock Crawl, and Baja. These modes tailor your Bronco’s performance and optimize your engine, transmission, driveline, and steering feel to help deliver optimal capability.
Ford has learned a lot throughout the years about what works best for those vehicles headed off-road. An Independent Front Suspension (IFS) with an electronic power assist rack and pinion steering improves control, stability, and comfort. Each wheel can move independently, which helps improve traction and performance.
Stash your gear, from tents and sleeping bags to coolers and generators, in the Bronco’s ample cargo area. You’ll find plenty of room for all your most important things.
Features
We know you’re going off-road. But when you go, you need to stay connected. SYNC 4 comes with an eight-inch screen or our class-exclusive twelve-inch screen. Both provide smartphone connectivity, which means all your most important contacts are only a touch away.
Our available 360-degree camera utilizes front-, rear-, and mirror-mounted cameras to provide a bird’s-eye view around your vehicle. It’s incredibly helpful when you’re maneuvering unchartered territory; our off-road overlays help you choose the best path for your adventure.
Once you’re inside the Bronco, you’ll see for yourself that Ford thought of everything! Standard center console grab handles help you stay stable no matter how bumpy, rocky, or uneven the trail may be.
When you’re out and about, you need helpful tools just an arm’s length away. Our Integrated MOLLE Panel System is mounted on the front seatbacks. This modular lightweight load-carrying equipment provides the conveniences you need for storing carabiners, bungee cords, handheld tools, and more.
Download topographic maps and use satellite imagery with trail content during navigation so you don’t have to be connected to find your way home. Use the available app to show real-time conditions of trails so you always have the information you need to make good choices.
Safety
We want you to be safe no matter where you go. Ford has developed some of the most innovative safety systems on the road today. Our Ford Co-Pilot360 Technologies provide the latest and greatest in safety innovations. Many of these features are standard across all Ford models, so ask your sales team member which ones apply to the model you’re most interested in. Safety features include:
- Hill Descent Control. When enabled by the driver, this system automatically engages the braking system to help keep you in control while descending the steep grades. You won’t experience that familiar anxiety of losing your traction. We’ve got it under control.
- Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking. If you’re going too fast for the traffic ahead, we alert you to slow down in enough time to avoid a collision. If you’re unable to react quickly enough, our system employs Emergency Braking to stop you.
- Auto High-Beam Headlamps. These headlamps detect ambient light and activate your bright and dim lights accordingly. You’ll always have the bright light you need to see in those dark corners, and you’ll never blind oncoming traffic again.
