We know that you’re not just looking for an SUV. You’re looking for the ultimate off-roading machine! We here at Hamilton Mohawk Ford know what you’re looking for and want to put you in a returning legend: the Ford Bronco.
No Roads? No Problem!
The Ford Bronco was built from the ground up to tackle any terrain you throw at it. It was specifically built to allow you to go over, around, and through just about anything you want. This is combined with its 11.6-inch ground clearance and water fording ability, which allows you to wade into water up to 33.5 inches deep. This means that you can drive anywhere without limitations.
Supporting all of this is underbody protection, which protects your engine and fuel tank from any damage that may occur while driving off-road. You can tackle those terrains without hurting your vehicle – or your wallet.
Driving all of this is the High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension System (HOSS), a set of components such as shocks, springs, and a solid rear axle, specifically dialed in to handle whatever terrain you decide to drive over. And with Off-Road Hero Switches, which allow you to choose between front locking differential, rear locking differential, available sway-bar disconnect, or the available Trail Turn Assist, you have more off-roading options at your fingertips than are found in most vehicles on the market.
Tech On The Road
The Ford Bronco features many great technological features to bring this legendary vehicle into the 21st century. One piece of tech that will come in handy are the G.O.A.T. modes. G.O.A.T. stands for Goes Over Any Type of Terrain, and it’s designed to allow your SUV to adjust to whatever road conditions are thrown at it.
The Ford Bronco also includes the FordPass Performance App with off-road navigation. This app allows you to plan, navigate, and share your off-road adventures utilizing curated trail content, third-party maps, in-vehicle navigation, and vehicle telemetry, to make your off-road adventure easier to navigate.
The Bronco comes standard with SYNC 4 and a 12-inch touchscreen. It’s compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features Bluetooth connectivity for unlimited entertainment options.
Safety Features
The Bronco has a set of safety features that ensures you have a safe trip, no matter where you go. It has a built-in 360 camera to make sure you don’t hit anything from any angle. A Hill Descent Control will engage the braking system as needed when going down a steep incline.
A rearview camera with backup assist makes backing up your Bronco easier and safer. Pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking can protect you from potential collisions by activating your braking system. Automatic high-beam lamps will activate your high-beams when necessary and deactivate them when appropriate.
It’s What’s on the Inside that Counts
The Ford Bronco seats up to four (2-door model) or five (4-door model) occupants and provides plenty of room to stretch your legs. There is cargo room in both the 2- and 4-door models. In the 2-door model, there are 22.4 cubic feet of cargo space to fit whatever you need to pack. The 4-door model features an impressive 83 cubic feet of space once you put the back row of seats down.
The Interior Water Management in the Ford Bronco makes it easy for the interior to get wet in your off-road excursions without having to worry about damaging the inside. The Black Diamond and Badlands trims feature rubberized flooring with drain plugs, allowing you to wash out dirt and debris with a hose without damaging your floors.
The marine-grade vinyl seats in the Black Diamond and Badlands trims are resistant to mildew. The previously mentioned hero switches are sealed for easy cleaning and protection from the elements, allowing you to drive without doors off-road.
Some other great interior features include grab handles to make it easy to climb in and out, auxiliary upfitter switches to power lights and other aftermarket accessories, an integrated MOLLE system on the seatbacks for holding equipment, and a 12-volt outlet to power whatever you wish to plug in.
